Bark Bash is the dog event of the summer for you and your canine friends! The second annual Bark Bash will take place at Prairie Oaks Metro Park on Saturday, August 23, 2025. The four-legged frolic gets underway at 10am and will keep you and your dogs fully active and engaged in fun until 3pm!
The Scioto Arts Market (SAM) is a monthly, themed pop-up community event featuring makers, bakers, art, food trucks, nonprofits, and more from May through October (Saturdays from 10 AM - 2 PM).
The market on Saturday, 9/13/25 will feature a pet theme. Muschlitz Photography can’t wait to see you there!
This exciting monthly event series, produced by the Columbus Young Professionals Club in the parking lot at National Veterans Memorial & Museum, is designed to foster creativity, engagement, and connection in downtown Columbus. Join us along the scenic Scioto River.

Mark your calendars for the 17th Annual 5k for K9s benefitting Friends of the Shelter! The event will be held on Saturday, 9/27/25 at 9:00am at Alum Creek State Park.
Friends of the Shelter helps sick and injured dogs at the Franklin County Dog Shelter and Adoption Center in Columbus, Ohio.
Sessions are Dog-Friendly and Family-Friendly.
This year's location is one of the best kept secrets on the East side in Blacklick, Ohio. Enjoy a pond, dense wooded areas, walking paths, and if you’re up for a short walk, a beach area along Blacklick Creek!
Spots are limited and must be reserved in advance.

Paws & Pints offers the perfect evening for dog enthusiasts to enjoy a refreshing cockTAIL and beer samples from local establishments, with their furry friends by their side. Dogs are warmly welcome, but must be leashed at all times and up to date on vaccinations to ensure a safe and fun experience for all!
Cocktails at the Conservatory events are 5:30-9:30pm and strictly 21+. Infants and toddlers are not permitted. IDs will be checked at the door. All guests are required to show valid, physical ID – regardless of age. Photos of ID are not permitted.
All guests, including all member levels and Monarchs, must reserve tickets in advance. Tickets will not be sold at the door and may sell out leading up to the event.

The first MIDWEST GOLDEN MEETUP will take place on Saturday, May 17th from 11am-4pm at BrewDog DogTap, in Canal Winchester, Ohio! This event is organized by 614 Goldens and BrewDog DogTap Columbus.
This event is free to attend and will include a market of local businesses with dog products and services, access to the fenced dog park, the ability to dine with your pup on the patio, and if you’d like to experience the DogHouse hotel, you can book a room for you and your furry friend!
While this event is primarily to celebrate Golden Retrievers, all breeds and mixes are welcome. We want all the dogs there!
Not local to central Ohio? No problem! This is a MIDWEST meetup, not just Columbus, so we’d love to see some Goldens from Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Indy and beyond!

Join us for the cutest Easter egg event for dogs in German Village, Columbus, OH on April 13th from 12:00-3:00pm. Hoppin’ Hound is a 2-3 mile walk through German Village that stops at more than a dozen local businesses to collect your dog’s treat filled Easter egg. The event benefits local rescue, Friends of the Shelter.

Join the German Village Fun Bunch, Cakehound and Stop the Suffering for a dog Trick or Treat and Pet Parade in German Village on October 27th, from 12:00-3:00pm. The event will be split into two arrival times to spread traffic out. $3 from each ticket will be donated to Stop the Suffering on your behalf.
Join Us for the 34th Annual Dog Jog
You can make a difference to the animals in your community by joining us for the 34th Annual Dog Jog 5K and Fun Run, a fundraising event that supports CHA Animal Shelter in Columbus, Ohio. This year's event returns to Genoa Park on Sunday, October 6. Muschlitz Photography is excited to attend and meet participants and learn about your dogs at the start/finish! We hope to see you there!
To participate in this event, register to complete a 5K Run/Walk or a 1-Mile Run/Walk virtually or onsite at Genoa Park. It is always a great experience to enjoy a fun-filled morning of exercise with your ENTIRE family, including your dog! For those who are unable to join us for the in-person event on October 6 at Genoa Park, there is a virtual option, where participants can submit results anytime between October 6 and October 13!
