Allie & Mike Engagement Session: Fall Outdoor Session, Westerville, Ohio

It's hard to believe that Allie and Mike's wedding is just a few days away! I've had the pleasure of knowing Mike since high school and so happy for him that he's found such a lovely woman to call his wife! Allie is sweet and bubbly and the perfect match to Mike's relaxed and fun side. It's easy to see can see that they both bring out the best in each other. We had a blast during their fall engagement session with their dog Sabrina. I'm so excited to share some of my favorites from their session and cannot wait to capture their big day next weekend!

Jessica & Bryan: Engagement Session, Inniswood Metro Gardens, Westerville, Ohio

I loved working with Jessica and Bryan during their own engagement session at Inniswood Metro Gardens in Westerville, Ohio. The couple is getting married later this summer. We were blessed to have the perfect day for their session - the weather was gorgeous and many of the plants were in bloom. We got to explore some of the diverse areas of the park and shared some laughs along the way! Jessica has such a beautiful laugh and Bryan seems to know the right words to say to bring a smile to her face.

Jane & Marty Engagement Session: Homestead Park, Hilliard, Ohio

It's hard to believe that Jane and Marty's big day is just 10 days away! It's been a pleasure getting to know them both over this past year!

Over the years the couple has bonded over their love of fishing, old cars, and and antiques. These interests will be included in their wedding day decor, but for their engagement session we ventured to Homestead Park to highlight their interest in fishing! Jane is very creative and had some neat ideas for their session which included the fishing tackle box, fishing poles, and bobbers.

One of my favorite parts of their session was getting to see the infamous puzzle box that Marty had given Jane when he proposed. Marty had put the ring in the beautiful wood box, so naturally, we had to include it!

We got some great shots of the two of them together and even got some family photos with Marty's daughter Olivia. Enjoy some of my favorites from their session! Can't wait for their big day next weekend!

Natalie & Carl Engagement Portrait Session: Highbanks Metro Park, Lewis Center, Ohio

From their first date at the North Market, fun and adventure have always been a huge part of Natalie and Carl's relationship! Highbanks Metro Park in Lewis Center was the perfect location for their engagement session. They both enjoy hiking and the outdoors and Highbanks has been one of their favorite places to visit. It doesn't matter where the couple may be, but they seem have fun in their day-to-day adventures together.

Emma + Thomas's Spring Engagement Session: Inniswood Metro Gardens, Westerville, Ohio

This winter is flying by and spring is not far behind! I'm reflecting back on some of my favorite sessions this past spring and I wanted to share some of my favorites from Emma and Thomas's engagement session.

I had the honor of working with these two in 2016 for their wedding and engagement session. The couple met through mutual friends, and after 5 years of dating they decided to tie the knot! They selected the beautiful Inniswood Metro Gardens in Westerville, Ohio for their engagement session. Inniswood is a truly unique park in the Columbus area. It offers is a large variety of gardens/backdrops for us to choose from, plus you also have a wooded area too and a really neat bridge! The park volunteers and staff do an excellent job changing up the flowers throughout the seasons, so no two portrait sessions there look alike!

Whitney + Greg's Winter Engagement Session: Gahanna Woods State Nature Preserve & Studio, Columbus, Ohio

We wrapped up 2016 and started the year off right with an engagement session for one of our spring wedding couples, Whitney and Greg! The pair's relationship has been growing for the past few years and they are set to tie the knot this May! The two braved a beautiful, but chilly day at one of my all-time favorite locations, Gahanna Woods State Nature Preserve, before heading to the studio for some indoor photos as well.

Even though it was my first time meeting Greg, it was easy to see the special connection they both share. The session was authentic and fun - they know just how to make each other giggle and it was so nice to get to know them a little better. I enjoyed capturing their love and beautiful connection. I can't wait to capture their big day in just a few months!

Cynthia + Chris: Slate Run Metro Park Engagement Session, Canal Winchester

I'm getting so excited for Cynthia and Chris's big day! We had a lot of fun during their engagement session at Slate Run Metro Park in Canal Winchester earlier this summer, that I wanted to make sure I featured some of my favorites on the blog before they tie the knot tomorrow!

We had the perfect night for their engagement photographs at the park and enjoyed the pond, fields, and covered bridge at Slate Run! Cynthia and Chris are actually big fans of Joker and Harley Quinn from Batman, and their wedding day will feature a few Joker-Harley Quinn details and the Joker's purple and green colors. As a special treat, Chris is a painter and used his painting talents to paint one-of-a-kind Joker and Harley Quinn Chuck Taylors that they will wear on their wedding day! We had fun getting some photographs with their beautiful hand-painted shoes at the end of their session.

I've really enjoyed getting to know them and cannot wait for their wedding tomorrow. Congratulations to them both! Enjoy a few of my favorites from their engagement session!

Rebecca + Chris Engagement: Inniswood Metro Gardens, Westerville, Ohio

It's hard to believe Rebecca and Chris's big day is almost here! It feels like just yesterday we were enjoying a beautiful fall day during their engagement session at Inniswood Metro Gardens.

Rebecca and Chris met while attending Otterbein University and quickly bonded over their love of music, something that they can enjoy and share for a lifetime! Both have gone on to continue to pursue their passion for music as band and choir directors.

It's been so much fun getting to know them both over the past several months. They are one of the sweetest couples you will ever meet and I cannot wait to capture their big day this weekend! Congratulations to them both! Enjoy a few of my favorites from their engagement session!
