Liam Newborn Portraits: In-Home Session, London, Ohio

Two of our dear friends, Sandy and Shane, welcomed their little boy, Liam, just a couple of weeks ago! It's been wonderful to meet their son and to document their happiness during this exciting time.

For Liam's newborn session, we decided to have the photo shoot in their home. One of the great things about having a newborn session at home is the ability to use and feature some of the important rooms, decor, and meaningful props in the session without needing to move props from their home to our studio.

We started in their baby-Stars Wars themed nursery, and incorporated other rooms in their home during the session. We were able to feature Liam wearing some of their favorite outfits, including a beautiful grey and green sweater that one of Liam's aunts made for him. It was such an honor to capture Liam and their family's portraits. We are excited for them as they begin the new adventure of parenthood with Liam. :-) Enjoy some of my favorites from their session!

Jane & Marty Engagement Session: Homestead Park, Hilliard, Ohio

It's hard to believe that Jane and Marty's big day is just 10 days away! It's been a pleasure getting to know them both over this past year!

Over the years the couple has bonded over their love of fishing, old cars, and and antiques. These interests will be included in their wedding day decor, but for their engagement session we ventured to Homestead Park to highlight their interest in fishing! Jane is very creative and had some neat ideas for their session which included the fishing tackle box, fishing poles, and bobbers.

One of my favorite parts of their session was getting to see the infamous puzzle box that Marty had given Jane when he proposed. Marty had put the ring in the beautiful wood box, so naturally, we had to include it!

We got some great shots of the two of them together and even got some family photos with Marty's daughter Olivia. Enjoy some of my favorites from their session! Can't wait for their big day next weekend!

Delaney 1 Year Portraits & Cake Smash: Studio, Columbus, Ohio

I've had the honor of photographing Delaney from her newborn session through her first year of life! I photographed her parents' wedding back in 2014 and have enjoyed seeing their family grow and documenting it for all time. So very excited to feature some of my favorites from Delaney's photo shoot at the studio!

Sarah & Brian Engagement Portrait Session: Park of Roses, Clintonville/Columbus, Ohio

Brian and Sarah are preparing to tie the knot in just a few weeks! It's been so much fun getting to know them over the past year and with their wedding right around the corner, I wanted to feature their engagement session!

The couple met at work when Brian was training Sarah at that job. Shortly after, Brian switched positions and moved to Columbus. Their relationship blossomed and they now both live here in Columbus. They're truly a perfect match - their witty and creative personalities compliment each other so well and it's easy to see their connection when you see them together.

I was so excited when they selected the Park of Roses for their engagement session. June is the peak month for roses at the park - the park actually has a Rose Festival every June. The gardens were in full bloom for their portraits.

Melissa: Beauty & Bridal Glam the Dress Portrait Session - Studio, Columbus, Ohio

We had a blast working with past wedding client Melissa during her Beauty and Bridal Glam the Dress Portrait Session at the studio! So excited to share a behind the scenes look featuring Melissa's session! I love being able to provide this experience to women to help them celebrate themselves and make images they'll treasure forever.

For her session, Melissa wanted to be photographed in her favorite dress, her wedding dress! It was such a treat to capture her in her wedding gown one more time. She also got to play with an elegant look pairing our black tulle shirt with a black top and some jewelry. Olivia 6 Month Portraits: Studio, Columbus, Ohio

Miss Olivia has reached her 6 month milestone! We had so much fun welcoming her back to the studio to capture her at this age. She's such a happy and beautiful baby! 6 months is one of my favorite ages to photograph little ones - their personalities really start to show. Enjoy some of my favorites of sweet Olivia!

Suzanne & Ron Anniversary Portrait Session: Creekside Park & Plaza, Gahanna, Ohio

I love capturing a good love story - whether it be a couple's, family's, or pet's love - and it's always an honor to be asked by someone you know to do so. Suzanne wanted to do something special for their 20th Wedding Anniversary - so to celebrate, they had an anniversary portrait session, complete with their Boxer dog, Carson!

Suzanne enjoyed starting her session our full service hair and make-up options at our studio by Gahanna make-up artist, Make You, (www.makeyou614.com), before venturing to Creekside Park and Plaza - a favorite spot in Gahanna for portraits!

Suzanne and Ron are easily two of the most fun and positive people you'll meet. They were joking throughout the entire session and we had a wonderful time capturing them and their dog. When asked if they had any tips for marriage, they said that in addition to communicating, one of the keys was to always have some fun in your relationship. :-)

Olivia Newborn Portrait Session: Studio, Gahanna/Columbus, Ohio

It was an honor to work with Hannah and Joel on their wedding day, but an even bigger honor to capture their growing family! Little Miss Olivia said "Hello World" in August and looked so incredibly cute at her newborn session at the studio. This sweet little girl was blessed with 2 of the sweetest parents to match. :-)

It's hard to believe she'll be coming back for her 6 month portraits in just a few days! She's grown a lot, so I wanted to share a few of my favorites from this little one's newborn session, before she makes her second debut in the studio - enjoy!
