We know how much families treasure having their child’s yearly school portrait. It’s such a neat way to document your child’s growth during their school years, and it is always fun to compare past years’ photos to see just how much they’ve grown! The 2020-2021 school year has been a weird one for many families and with hybrid and virtual schooling options, school portraits have been paused at many schools. But despite the regular school photos being temporarily paused, your kids are still growing!
When I was recently approached by a past client and friend with a request to capture some traditional school portraits of her children and her niece and nephew, I was so excited! Her kids’ schools’ had temporarily paused school portraits, but she wanted to capture them before their next big growth spurt. Muschlitz Photography just recently opened our home studio in Gahanna which is perfect for smaller groups and individuals. We have several backdrop options to choose from, including some of the traditional hand-painted backdrops that are common for head shots or school portraits. It’s a great space to have clients indoors, out of the elements anytime of the year, and is the perfect setting for the school portraits that she had been missing.
Whether you have just one child or multiple, Muschlitz Photography is excited to now offer school yearbook portrait sessions at our home studio in Gahanna. Unlike the normal school portraits held at their school, you can be there to adjust your child’s outfit and hair during the session to help make sure you get the look you want.
During the session, we were able to not only capture all 5 kids individually, but to get photographs of them all together, and each group of siblings together. We were even able to capture some candids! Enjoy some of my favorite photographs from their session!
